Catholic Schools Week keeps getting better!
Thursday Vocations Day
Today was matching day for students and staff! Parents were treated with donuts brought to their cars at drop-off. Students started their day off with music in the cafeteria as they entered school. K-8th grades attended mass. 5th-8th grades then loaded the bus, enjoyed lunch out, followed by the boys visiting Kenrick-Glennon Seminary and the girls visiting St. Agnes Home (Carmelite Sisters). Preschool - 4th grade enjoyed an ice cream sundae bar at lunch, followed by a very special guest speaker, Father Joel ! Father Joel had a great meet and great with students and answered so many questions about what it’s like being a priest. Thank you Father Joel !
Catholic Schools Week is in full swing!
Monday!
We kicked off the week with a "Cheerful Welcome", a "Slumber-Jam" w/ donuts and laser lights in the cafeteria, an all-school mass with special guest Father Carol, and an all-school Trivia contest!
Catholic Schools Week wraps up!
Friday
K-8th grade started with Mass Friday morning. After Mass, everyone gathered in the gym to watch the 8th grade vs. Teachers in our annual dodgeball and volleyball games.
Younger grades took an extra recess break to stretch their legs and enjoyed some warmer temps outside. During our 5th - 8th grade lunch, these students enjoyed their ice cream sundae bar. We wrapped up our day with our annual talent show! We are so proud of our students who came out and performed in front of so many people. It takes a lot of courage to do this and our talent show could not go on without you! Great Job!!!!!!
Please see our other posts with additional photos and videos from this super fun-filled PACKED day!
Catholic Schools Week fun continues!
Tuesday
We started the day off with a K-8th Mass . After we arrived back at school, the teachers mixed it up with some fun lessons swapping classrooms! We then all headed to lunch for a “mix-up” lunch period! Everyone received a starburst and had lunch at the matching starburst colored table! We all got to sit next to different students from various grades. It was fun to talk and visit with new people. After we filled our bellies with lunch, we all headed to the gym for some BINGO!
Catholic Schools Week rolls on!
Wednesday
K-8th grades started their morning at mass. Once we all got settled back at school, Mrs. Castello and the 3rd grade class collected essentials from classrooms. THANK YOU to everyone who brought in donations. We had a great turnout this year! Students dressed like teachers and teachers dressed like students! We all enjoyed a yummy brownie dessert with lunch! After lunch we all headed to the gym for our annual spelling bee. CONGRATS to Oliver Kaiser-Smith for winning the entire spelling bee! Next we held our monthly virtue awards, followed by a super fun pep-rally featuring all of our teams and clubs! We all formed a “Falcon Ring” and each team ran the ring receiving high-5’s and cheers of encouragement! We finished our day with a glow in the dark “Jesus-Jam”! Whew! What a day!!
