Mr. Scott Ruppel

God is good! All the time!

My name is Scott Ruppel, I graduated from Mater Dei Catholic High School in 1996 and the University of Illinois in 2001.

I immediately began my career at Gibault

Catholic High School as the Music Director and this will be my 24 th year at Gibault. I was also

the Campus Minister for 10 years. My wife, Michelle, is the principal at Sr. Thea Bowman

Catholic Grade School in East St. Louis, and we have been married for 21 years. Our oldest

daughter, Kylie, will be a senior at Gibault, our son, Carson will be in the 8 th grade, and our

daughter, Addison, will be in the 6 th grade, and we have a Golden Doodle named Chloe. I

began my church music ministry at St. Luke Catholic Church in Belleville. After a couple of

years, I became the Music Director at St. James Catholic Church in Millstadt for 10 years. I

became the Music Director at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in January and am so

excited to be joining the staff at the school as well!
