Hello! I’m Tarah Heinzl and this is currently my 10th year teaching at Ss. Peter and Paul Catholic School.

I am a graduate of SPPCS and love getting to share my passion for SPPCS with my students. My husband, Kyle, and I have two daughters, Taya and Kennedi. My daughter, Taya, will be attending Preschool this year at SPPCS.

I attended Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and earned a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with a middle school emphasis in Social Studies, Science, and English, and a Master's degree in Instructional Technology. I love teaching the students how to incorporate technology into their schoolwork and often integrate it into my lessons.

In my free time, I can typically be found spending time with my girls or reading a new book. My family and I have a pet dog, Todd, who was named after my favorite childhood movie, The Fox and The Hound.
